What Clients Have Written

"We booked the Heritage Waterway Tour for a group of twelve colleagues and found it considerably more informative than expected. The guide's knowledge of the tongkang era was thorough and the printed map is something I have kept on my desk."

"We used the Corporate Day Charter for a mid-year team outing — eighteen people from across the regional offices. Shirin handled the planning well and made the catering choices straightforward. The covered deck worked for our afternoon session. Would book again."

Corporate Day Charter · January 2026

"The three-day retreat with my leadership team was one of the more productive working experiences I have organised. The crew kept themselves unobtrusive, the meals were well prepared, and the morning sessions on deck had a quality of focus that office spaces rarely achieve."

Multi-Day Team Retreat · December 2025

"My parents were visiting from Penang and I wanted to show them the Singapore I have come to know. The heritage tour did exactly what I hoped — it gave them historical context for a city that can feel quite modern on the surface. The kueh was a welcome touch."

Heritage Waterway Tour · January 2026

"We are a strategy consultancy and run an annual client appreciation event. This year we used the Corporate Day Charter and it worked well — the island stop gave people a chance to step away from the formal programme. The coordinator was responsive throughout the planning."

Corporate Day Charter · February 2026

"The retreat format suited our team of eight very well. Having the cook onboard removed a logistical variable that would otherwise have distracted from the working sessions. Raymond's knowledge of the southern islands meant we anchored in places we would not have found on our own."

Three Client Journeys in Detail

Financial Services Firm — Annual Client Appreciation Event

Corporate Day Charter · 20 Guests

The Situation

The client had previously hosted their annual event at hotel function rooms and found that the format felt indistinguishable from ordinary working days. They wanted something that would feel like a genuine change for their key account contacts.

The Approach

A Corporate Day Charter was structured around an informal morning gathering on the main deck followed by an island stop for lunch. The afternoon was unscheduled, allowing conversations to develop naturally. The AV equipment was set aside after an initial short presentation.

The Outcome

Client feedback from the event was notably more positive than previous years. The firm rebooked a Corporate Day Charter the following year with the same group size. The coordinator noted the second booking came in within eight weeks of the first.

Product Team Retreat — Quarterly Planning Offsite

Multi-Day Team Retreat · 8 Guests

The Situation

A technology company's eight-person product team had struggled to find productive offsite formats. Conference venues felt too close to ordinary working environments, and leisure trips lacked structure. They were looking for something between the two.

The Approach

The three-day retreat was structured across two morning planning sessions, one per working day. Afternoons were kept open. The cook prepared meals without fuss, and the crew managed the itinerary so the team could focus on their discussions rather than logistics.

The Outcome

The team reported completing their quarterly planning objectives within the first two sessions, which gave them an unscheduled afternoon that became one of the most useful conversations of the trip. They have since run two further retreats with Kelong Tides.

Heritage Society — Member Experience Programme

Heritage Waterway Tour · 12 Guests

The Situation

A local heritage society wanted to offer members an experience connected to Singapore's port history that went beyond walking trails and museum exhibitions. They needed something that could accommodate twelve people comfortably.

The Approach

The Heritage Waterway Tour was adjusted in its narrative to emphasise specific periods of interest to the society's membership. The printed heritage map was discussed in detail by the guide at two key points along the route. Members were encouraged to ask questions throughout.

The Outcome

The society incorporated the tour into their annual member programme and have run it in three consecutive years. Several members have since booked the Heritage Waterway Tour independently for personal groups.
